  This has become my favourite sushi place in Victoria. I go here all the time for take out, their spicy tunacado rolls are addictively good. Very friendly staff and quick takeout time.

  Really lovely atmosphere - great food (fresh) and the amount of rice wasn't overwhelming on the sushi. The star was definitely whatever was rolled inside. A teeny bit on the expensive side as far as sushi goes, but tastes great and the service is lovely

  Amazing sushi. Staff was friendly and the place itself was very cozy. Yamacado rolls were delicious. Some of the best sushi I've had in Victoria.

  Earlier this afternoon I placed an order for pick-up, I had ordered a Yamacado Roll (Tempura yam, avocado and sauce – 5.95) and Sunomono Salad (Sunomono Salad Chilled clear noodles in sweet and sour dressing topped with prawn, octopus, or crab – 4.75) Authentic Sunomono Salad is topped with Cucumber and sometimes Green Onion or Carrot, so when I opened my bowl and saw Tomato marinating in my beautiful Sunomono I was horribly disappointed. I am very allergic to Tomatoes, if I eat them I develop a horrible rash all over my face (which I actually have right now due to an incident the other day) I called the restaurant, informed them of my allergy and was told to return in five minutes. To my surprise, when I returned I was handed a bill for $5... I've worked in the food service industry a number of years and I know that this is not how you handle a situation. I kindly informed her about my problem, showed her my face and asked if there was anything we could do. She talked to a manager or the owner (im not sure) who said there was nothing he could do, and unless I wanted to pay the $5 I would be walking out empty handed. With nothing but a "Sorry Doll" from the Server, I know I will NEVER be returning. I don't want my money back, I don't want a gift card, I don't even want to hear an "Im sorry". All I want is for this restaurant to realize the need to list all of their ingredients on the menu OR cater to your customers needs. I would be more disappointed but my Yamacado roll was quite salty and not something I would eat again. Sincerely, Still Hungry & Very Disappointed.
