  Our experience multiple times now at around 3pm (which is likely a slow time) is dirty tables, dirty prep areas and young staff chatting either out front or in the back. I just counted 8 out of the 9 tables in here are dirty and floors have not been swept since lunch rush. Food is okay but expensive and also noticed lack of hand washing between handling cash and prepping food. We like to support local business so we come here but every time we leave I tell myself we are not going to come back. Simple things to fix but it appears staff needs more supervision or motivation. Owner is a decent guy when he is here.

  Best homemade soup ever and free large heal of bread for under $7. Owner (Dad) is great and made us feel at home.

  Too expensive for what you get. We bought two sandwiches and two bowls of soup with two bottles of root beer, and it came to about $40. The sandwiches weren't that great of quality, you could go to any store in the area and get a similar average sandwich for a fraction of the price. The bowl off soup was quite expensive, and pretty bland. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, but all the other tables were dirty. The staff were busy chatting in the back of the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this place to any friends or family. There's plenty of other stores in the area that offer a better experience.
