  Been to several places for fish and chips on the island and this place is by far one of the biggest rip offs around town. I never write reviews but I was SO disappointed, I felt obligated to let people know... stay away!

  Best locals fish and chips in Victoria hands down. Beats the tourist trap fish&chips places downtown by a mile. Can get busy & limited seating (more of a takeout place)

  Very friendly staff who make me feel right at home even though I don't visit often. The food is very good, I've never had a complaint about quality. Every time I get their fish I have the pleasure of thinking to myself 'this was a good decision' at least a few times while it's still on my plate.

  This place used to have an awesome reputation. I live in the neighbourhood and used to pop by once a month. It was probably the best fish & chip shop in town. Plump fresh halibut in crispy light batter and a small chips would feed two people generously. But the food has really gone downhill, when you order a halibut and small chips now, you get a small dry overcooked tasteless piece of fish soaked in dark greasy batter and a very small chips that look and taste like you left them in the oven overnight and re heated. Managing costs is something all businesses have to do, but it's truly quite sad to witness this operational frugality. There are MUCH better Fish & Chip places along Victoria's harbour. I recommend the current owner check out Red Fish, Blue Fish sometime and get some tips on how to run a proper fish & chip business.
