  I'm giving it three stars as my experience has been mixed. We had a delicious dinner here but did not enjoy the Sunday brunch. Most food was overcooked and the selection was not great for the price. So their brunch needs to be improved upon.

  We really enjoy going here for lunch. Some of the best fries in Victoria and fantastic seafood chowder. It gets a little too packed around dinner for us to enjoy the experience fully, but good for them! We stick to lunch and it is a nice experience.

  This is the second time we've given this place a chance and it's the second time that it's been terrible. The service just plain sucks here. We were seated for over 15 minutes before anybody came to take a wine order and it was another 20 until she came to take a food order. From there it was a long wait for food and a long wait for the bills, my water was never refilled and our server never came to check in on us. The food on average is fairly expensive, around $22 for a cheaper entree. I ordered the pork tenderloin, my wife ordered the salmon, my brother ordered the ribs, and so fourth. 2 out of 9 people said that the food was good, 7 out of 9 felt that the food was poor quality, and for the price we all agreed that it was outrageous. My order of pork tenderloin was dry, I got 3 tiny little medallions, and a small potato leak side dish, I wasn't even close to being satisfied with this paltry meal. For this price point you're better off at Il Terrazzo, Brasserie L'ecole, or The Keg.

  Wow, I just had one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten! The special is an incredible value. $25 for an appetizer, entree and dessert! Each course was absolutely amazing - the chocolate mousse was to die for. The service was fantastic too. I highly recommend the Fireside Grill! I
