  Chances are slim to none that you can walk in the door & get a seat unless you are at the door when they open. Service has been excellent for us each time we've been. (Been 4 times now with my BF.) Decor is layered wood & brick; cozy & rustic with a lovely crackling wood fireplace. Place is usually bustling; great atmosphere- colourful eclectic art- high energy- good food. The food can be somewhat rich, but perhaps it's just what I am ordering. I had the venison last time, it was sort of swimming in cherry balsamic stew with my mashed potatoes. My BF had a pasta Vongole . Anyway, I should have ordered pasta because that is what I really wanted. All complaints aside, the food is quite good otherwise I wouldn't keep coming back, despite the fact that I love sipping wine here while absorbing the people & decor, which is a huge draw for me. I do love this place & it's charm.

  Great food, ambience and service! I ordered a plate of seafood pasta + dessert... To my delight, the pasta was nicely flavored and hot (in temperature) with EVERY bite. There was an abundance of fresh seafood in the pasta. Bravo to the restaurant owner and his team of friendly staff!
