  Service was good, staff were really nice. Got Canadian burger with mashed potatoes, which was pretty tasty. Nothing I would give 5 stars for but I would not give it less than 4.

  Not my first rodeo at Montana's. Food was quick out during lunch and the southern fried chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside, well seasoned and juicy inside. I'd easily have it again. Only issue was the chunks of cold bacon fat in my side Caesar salad, not meat and fat in one piece but straight up fat-only pieces. I'm sure this appeals to some but not to me. At 8 pieces I stopped wasting my time grooming my salad and sent that side dish away. The server kindly offered a replacement but I refused; I've worked in kitchens in the past. Still tipped appropriately on the sub-total (as you should). I'll be back.

  After a reasonable wait, we were seated and our orders taken promptly. The appetizers were good, the main was excellent other than overdone fries. The chips were good. Although delicious, my medium steak was actually medium-rare, my wifes medium steak was at least medium-well. After we were served, we never saw our server again. We finished our meals, and waited over 20 minutes before we finally got our bill from the hostess (not our server). We noticed several vacant but not cleared tables and there were several people waiting. Obviously management needs to manage this restaurant better.

  Been in a few Montana's over the years and always found them OK at the least. When we walked in this one, there was a peculiar odor. At that moment we should have left but we did not. The food was not great, the washrooms stunk. On the bright side, the service was pretty good. I doubt we will be back to this Montana's.
