  Yes Mutsuki-An is on the pricier side, but it is delicious, the room is delightful and the service is incredible. It's my favourite sushi experience in Victoria. The donburi bowls are next-level. Actually, everything is. This is the perfect place to go on a date or celebrate a special occasion.

  Food is always super fresh and delicious! Lovely family that run it! Best japanese restaurant in town!!! Lovely presentation as well, omg those soybean dumplings and avocado rolls are the best!

  I have dined here over many years. The food is always excellent and very authentic Japanese. The service is friendly and I always feel welcome. The miso soup is the best I have had outside of Japan. The toro sushi is my favourite.

  Always fresh! They are a super nice family and always kind and accommodating. If you know you want to go for dinner order ahead. Because they focus on fresh if they sell out of ingredients they will close early but if they know you are coming and your order it will be there for you. I often order their trays for parties and they look and taste fantastic.

  An excellent family owned restaurant. There is not a big variety of sushi but their rice is noticeably some of the best I've ever had. Usually I get the combo plates and am very happy. Service is very good and friendly. Prices are on the high side. Get there early as they sometimes run out of rice.
