  Boring big box groceries. Save-on always seems to be losing selection as brands are reduced so you can buy the one that's way too expensive or Western Family, which is still over-priced as well as bland, over engineered mixtures with too much salt, sugar, chemicals... Or as I call it, barely food. They do sell a lot of big-name, lack luster foods like the tinned "pink goo" chicken; you know it by the hockey puck shape that has nothing you recognize as meat. I buy whole-bean coffee and a few veggies or fruit there cause it's close by. For most of my food, I travel out of my way to get real foods and choice elsewhere.

  It has size going for it. It's central location is a plus, as is the parking. The prices are good and the food quality is okay.

  My favorite place to shop for most things grocery. Rather go to whole foods for the organic produce though. Find the organic section over priced and sickly looking in comparison.
