  Elegant and charming ambience. New York cheesecake could use some moisture in the crust. Carrot cake doesn't need so much glazing on the top. Teas are superb.

  My husband & I had tea at the Empress and enjoyed it so much, we had to have tea the next day! We decided to try this place out and loved it. We sat on a cute couch and had their "cream tea", which is a pot of your choice of tea and a scone + jam + cream for $11.50. The scones are absolutely delicious & so is the tea; flavor-wise, we preferred both to those at the Empress.

  Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance. Quite elegant yet casual, found it just adorable. Staff was kind and informative. And the afternoon tea was wonderful. I always love to come here after morning classes with friend to just sit, relax and enjoy our tea. One of the best places for high tea.

  This is High Tea at its finest!!! Best value, tea, flavors, sweets, food, location experience. You will never return again to the Empress as this place has High Tea at classic top notch!!!
