The water park and playground are great for kids, there was quite a few people when we went but it didn't feel overcrowded. There is great shade for sitting in the grass but the playground is in the full sun. The ground where the playground is gets very hot.

Great park with a play area for kids! There's even a gazebo to relax in if you need. Full of history about veterans, as the park name might lead you to believe.
